Engineering curiosity led me from high-tech systems to business school and eventually to launching my first e-commerce venture. Despite strong technical abilities, the business struggled. This wasn't a failure—it was an education in the gap between technical capability and business success.
Later in my career, I dove into AI to solve what seemed like a simple prediction problem. Building and training ML models, using Generative AI before ChatGPT, I realized how powerful these capabilities could be for struggling businesses—or businesses that just want to stay ahead.
